Teaching

An engineer by education (BME '59) and a business executive by experience, Professor Schneider teaches NBA 401, Entrepreneurship for Scientists and Engineers, with Professor John Nesheim in the spring and fall. The course approaches entrepreneurship from a high tech perspective, utilizing John's book High Tech Start Up. The course is team based and requires a formal business plan, team presentations for mid-term and final exams, and class presentations. Professor Schneider brings 35 years of business experience, including senior financial and executive positions in several entrepreneurial manufacturing companies, to his classes.
