Professor Earle's professional interests include the areas of interpersonal communication and organizational communication. He is interested in organizational culture and leadership. He is also interested in the research on interviewing, primarily placement interviews but also the interpersonal interactions in all forms of interviews.
Professor Earle is involved in the college and university efforts to improve pre-college communication with prospective students and first year experience of new students.
