Suzanne Loker, Professor, Department of Textiles and Apparel, College of Human Ecology. Dr. Loker will focus on the development of an undergraduate course, Entrepreneurship for Designers. The course will utilize an interactive electronic textbook that will be developed by Suzanne through the Clark Professorship. Of note is the on-going value of such an electronic textbook that can be revised easily or adapted by others for use elsewhere on campus. In addition to the interactive case-study based design of the course and textbook, students will have a "real-life" entrepreneurial problem to solve. This is an innovative and valuable component, which will enable the most effective learning experience for the students to engage them in the decision-making of entrepreneurs.
