Mr. O’Connell, senior partner, leads the firm’s consumer goods and retail practice. Mr. O’Connell has extensive operating experience running and repositioning companies, as well as leading turnaround initiatives. He served as CEO and Chairman of the Board for Indian Motorcycle most recently. Previously, Mr. O’Connell was Chairman, President and CEO of Gibson Greetings, Inc. Mr. O’Connell has led other branded companies including Reebok, HBO Video, Skybox International, and Mattel. He spent the first 14 years of his career running food companies and developing brands. He is known for breakthrough marketing and new product ideas. Mr. O’Connell earned his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Cornell University.
