Rob began Sunlight Electric in 2002 after researching solar power options and seeing a huge opportunity to raise the level of service, responsiveness, and professionalism in the solar industry and help speed the adoption of this clean, renewable energy technology. With well over 2,000,000 watts of solar generating capacity installed to date – including more winery solar power systems in Napa County than any other solar integrator – Sunlight Electric’s efforts will spare the emission of nearly 130 million pounds of global-warming carbon dioxide and asthma and allergy-inducing pollution over the next 30 years. Prior to Sunlight Electric, Rob held senior marketing and general management positions in a number of technology companies and before his move into the technology sector, Rob was a management consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, where he advised clients such as Kraft Foods, PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Primedia, and Paramount Studios on marketing, sales, and distribution strategy. Rob began his marketing career at the Procter & Gamble Company, where he became one of the company’s youngest Brand Managers at the age of 25, guiding the marketing and product development for such products as Clearasil, NyQuil, and Vicks. Rob holds a B.S. in Applied Economics, from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. |
